The micropores of Bang Bang and Ol Lufsen’s 800D noise-canceling headphones mimic the best of Microsoft’s Surface headphones.

Bang & Oluface has announced its new BioPlay H95 sound-canceling headphones with the price of the 800. You can get a lot of star pairs of headphones, a lot less than that, but audio dio expert Sony, Bose and other headphone manufacturers are hoping to jump in craftsmanship and sound quality. With their Lambskin ear pads (memory foam inside), aluminum frame and leather headband, these definitely look part of the top-end, premium headphones.

Along with the H95 headphones, Bang and Olufsen also mimicked one of the best things about MicroSt .’s surface headphones: dial controls. You can bend the dial on the right ear cup to adjust the volume and one on the left to control the adaptive sound cancellation. That’s exactly how the Surface headphones work, but Bang and Olufsen claim that the idea is “inspired by the rings focused on the lens of a high-end camera.” OK. If so. It would be refreshing to see a tech company give credit for an innovative research approach, but oh. Either way, Bang and Olufsen say these dials “move with just the right amount of precision and smooth resistance.” And they’re textured, so they’re easy to feel when you wear headphones.

It looks like the H95 headphones are battery champs, running with ANC enabled for up to 38 hours of continuous run. It beats the less expensive, mainstream competition by hand. There are four built-in mixes for voice calls and Bang and Ol Luffsen also include a sedatone feature (which lets you hear more naturally) so you don’t have to boom over your zoom calls. Bang and Olufesen say its sound cancellation is both convenient – so it will respond to those around you – and adjustable if you choose to dial it at any level you want.

For codecs, the H95 supports SBC, AAC, and APTX apdaptiv for low latency and improved audio dio fidelity. Bang and Olufsen say they feature “carefully selected” 40mm titanium drivers for an “unparalleled listening experience”. For $ 800, things didn’t sound anything better than the stars. When not in use, the H95 can fold down for storage in their hardshell case.

The BioPlay H95 headphones will go on sale September 10 in Black & Gray; The company has already sold a limited number of 95 units to celebrate its 95-year legacy. I look forward to reviewing them and gaining an understanding of what you get at that price point on Sony’s coolest 1000XM4 headphones. Stay connected.
