The meteor shower in California in the amazing video – it was a close call Science | News

Residents of California were stunned when a bright fireball would erupt over them, producing stunning green colors. Above California, on Sunday, September 6, the meteor struck the Earth’s atmosphere, showing dozens of spectators.

Some Californians claimed they saw the best meteor they had ever seen, while others were amazed at how close it seemed.

About 50 people reported watching the International Meteorological Organization (IMO), a video from a security camera showing a fireball in all its details.

Robert told the IMO: “It was a huge one. I never saw anything like it. I could see it on my balcony as soon as I saw it.”

Megan said: “I have never seen a color that is so vivid in my life.

“It will look much wider than the meteor showers I have seen and much closer and lower in the sky.”

Mike said: “This was a nearby phone that no one picked up!”

Donna added: “The outside of the ball was slightly orange while the dark green with a green tail.

“I’ve never seen anything so big or anything like this in my life! It was beautiful!”

Each year, the Earth is hit by an average of more than 6,000 meteors, most of which break up as they break into the atmosphere.

However, in some cases, they can almost form ground, causing extensive damage in the process, such as the Chelyabinsk meteorite.

In 2013, a 20-meter meteorite exploded over Chelyabinsk, Russia, shattering windows and injuring more than 1,000 people.

Another such incident occurred in Russia in 1901 when a small planet exploded over Tanguska in Siberia, destroying woodland at a distance of 80,000 miles after being discovered by experts.

The eruption was so powerful that it was equivalent to 30 megatons of TNT at an altitude of 10 to 15 kilometers (6.2 to 9.3 miles).
