The Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro ‘Tattoo Edition’ by Carlex Design is not for the weak

Carlex Design has made the Mercedes-AMG GT R Pro even more eye-catching with the introduction of its ‘Tattoo Edition’ model.

Adorning the exterior of the track-centric supercar is a unique brushed green envelope that Carlex says celebrates the success of Mercedes-Benz motorsport. Brushed green certainly has a unique look and has been complemented by an aftermarket silver wheelset as well as some black and carbon fiber accents.

Like most Carlex creations, its modified GT R Pro has a distinctive interior. Many of the key interior surfaces, such as the dashboard, center console, seat bolsters, and door panels are bathed in a dark shade of green leather with a unique gloss. Most of the other interior parts are finished in black leather with green contrast stitching, including at the bottom of the dash, door panels and center of the seats.

Elsewhere, Carlex Design has wrapped the car’s steering wheel with a bit of Alcantara, while the center of the seats also features a host of skull motifs.

Although we suspect that most Mercedes-AMG GT owners would be appalled at the modifications made, all that really matters is that the person who commissioned Carlex Design to do all of this work is satisfied.

Carlex has not mentioned any mechanical modifications, which means the car’s powertrain has probably not been touched. That’s not a bad thing, as the GT R Pro is good for 577 hp and 516 pound-feet (700 Nm) out of the box thanks to its 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine.
