‘The Matrix 4’ Recorded Back in Berlin – Deadline

Cameras have rolled again The Matrix 4 after a five-month hiatus due to the pandemic.

Deadline first showed back in March that production on the Warner Bros / Village Roadshow photo in the German city of Berlin paused due to the disruption. Filming is now underway again, with star Keanu Reeves making an appearance in a video interview with AP to update on their perspectives.

“Everyone loves the project and if you ever get into a situation that needs to be figured out … show that business people are the best,” Reeves said. ‘We are cunning, we know how things are done, we are inventive, we think at our feet. It’s a great honor and I’m grateful I’m at work. ”

Regarding the COVID-19 security measures the studio is taking, the actor said that the protocols to date have been effective and not disruptive. “There are ingenious, effective protocols in place. The rhythm of filmmaking is not really interrupted or affected, and that is because of all the hard work and organization. ”

Lana Wachowski helps make the fourth entry into the big-sci-fi franchise, some 17 years after the release of the third film. Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss and Jada Pinkett Smith are all returning, along with newcomers Priyanka Chopra, Jessica Henwick, Ibarra, Neil Patrick Harris, Toby Onwumere, Brian J. Smith, Eréndira Ibarra, Andrew Caldwell and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

WB moved the photo to April 1, 2022, from the original date of May 21, 2021, after the delay.
