The Mass Effect Legendary Edition accommodates those great shirts from Miranda’s bottom grat Eurogamerennet

The next Mass Effect Legendary Edition of Beaver has taken a new look at the MET2 character Miranda – or more specifically, the Gratus Camera Angles of the Trilogy focusing on its bottom – and made some changes.

Speaking to Metro, the legendary edition’s project director, Walk Walters, said time had moved on since the original games began, and a few things had been adjusted.

“I think a lot of things have evolved since then [the original games], “Walters said.” I don’t know if I can say we were incredibly concerned about it or anything like that, but there was consideration. Kevin [Meek, environment and character director] Really called for some camera cuts that were just … because he was focusing on Miranda’s bar? So in some cases we said, ‘Well, we can make a difference there.’ “

Other changes to the camera include some annoying angles for the Shepard, which were clearly designed with the male Shepard model in mind. From experience, playing this as a female Shepard means she’s manspreding in a skirt there, and she’s just ridiculous and a little broken to look at.

“The male Shepherd animation would be sitting with his legs wide apart with the camera down, where if you were wearing a skirt it would be a little flapping,” Walters continues. “So we can’t necessarily change that animation, but you can make that camera a little more to reduce the problem.”

The Mass Effect character Miranda is defined by her introduction, and coming to terms with the fact that her DNA is genetically modified by her father is a major part of her overall character arc. But the writing of the trilogy does enough to combat this – reminiscent of his cat camera shots without players.

For more on the Mass Effect Legendary Edition, Walters will not be intimidated by many, including our questions about returning to the franchise, Eurogamer published his interview and impressions earlier this week.
