The masks do not stop COVID-19 since the pants do not contain farts

A woman refused to wear a mask on a Panera Bread in California, claiming that they are useless to stop the spread of COVID-19 since people can still smell farts through pants, the video shows.

The video, taken Monday at a Panera Bread in Chico, shows a white woman nicknamed “Panera Karen” by some online holding her cell phone over her shoulder, and appears to be trying to film while hiding her face, while a man who He is behind her scolding her for not wearing a mask, which she is holding with the same hand.

“Wow, you sure are brave,” says the man, identified as William See. “You’re sure it’s difficult, right?”

See then asks a Panera employee to “get this lady out of here,” leading the worker to say he just called security, the video shows.

That leads the unmasked woman to turn around and ask See to “stop” before intentionally blowing air in her direction, the video shows.

Mira, who was with a friend at the time, then curses the woman, telling her to “grow the fk”, as she walks away before briefly stopping to provide her apparent reasoning for not wearing a mask.

“Do you think that mask will protect you?” says the woman. “You fart; you can smell it up the ass. Do you think that mask will protect you?

The woman then leaves the store when See again tells her to “grow up,” the video shows.

Meanwhile, social media detectives were trying to identify the woman early Wednesday morning after some Twitter users asked others to retweet the images on Tuesday until her identity was revealed.

“Karen is ranting at Panera that masks will not stop the virus because pants can’t stop farts,” read one tweet. “We have a scholar on our hands, friends.”
