The man who attacked his ex-girlfriend was killed by his mom and sister

A man who broke into his ex-girlfriend’s California home and attacked her was killed by the woman’s mother and sister – who used a golf club and a kitchen knife to rescue him, police said.

The Los Angeles Times reported that the man, identified as 40-year-old Justin Goss, threw a large concrete paver from the front window of a South Pasadena home on Saturday and entered.

He then began suffocating and punching his ex in the face, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Just when the 37-year-old woman’s mom and adult sister jumped into action, Goss attacked her with a knife and stabbed her with golf clubs.

“They tried to pull it off, and it didn’t work; He was very strong. So they had to use weapons, “Lt. Barry Hole told the Times.

South Pasadena police officers found the front window of the home broken and heard the woman’s screams coming from inside, when they responded to a domestic violence call at 10 a.m., officials said.

Goss was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of her facial injuries and was released.

“They were within his right to defend his sister and daughter,” he said, adding that his mother and sister would not face charges.
