Boba Fat’s chain code, translation.

The latest episode of The Mandlorian Saw bounty hunter Boba Fat, revealing his chain code to Mando, proving that the Mandlorian Beskar armor is indeed his. Mando understands symbols. Boba Fat understands them. Even Fenek Shand (Ming-na Wen) seems to understand them. Thanks to Star Wars fan site Fentha Tracks and Reddit, we can too.

Icons are written in a translation provided by the Star Wars alphabet ure Rabesh, author of Fantha Tracks Sander de Lange and Reddit user Zack Gardner. “It basically seems to work in a genealogy or family tree,” Zackgardner noted.

Whether you realize it or not, here is the translation message: “Establishment, entry into this વર્ષ this year … Concorde Dawn, Mentor Jest, Father Fat, Boba Fat.”

Before translating the translation, here is a better look at the deciphered message (thanks to SWLebricomics on Imgur). Symbols appear to have truncated letters:

Boba Fat Mandaladorian Chain-Code Rev. 2

So what is translation of translation? It appears that the chain code is a chronicle of Bob’s origin. Let’s “Concord Dawn.” Let’s start with. It is the home planet of Bob Ngo Fat, the “father” of Bob Fat. Boba is a clone of Jango – his home planet is Camino, known for his cloning technique.

Also wake up back. This is where the “foundling” part comes into play. Like Mando, Jango is also a founder, an infant and is cared for by others. Who took him inside? “Mentor Just” may refer to Jango’s adopted father, Jester Merrill. Meryl was Mandlor, the homeworld of the Mandlorians, the protagonist of all Mandalarian clans on the Mandlor.

On Concorde Dawn, which is also Marel’s home planet, Merel rescues a young Jango from the Death Watch, a violent division of the Mandlorians. When Merrell was later assassinated, Django took over as the new mandal or ra.

The takeover is that Fats has a strong relationship with Mandelor and can be called Mandlorian.

This has not always been the case: George Lucas himself told Mandlorian executive producer Dave Filoni that these fats are not Mandal Ndolorian. But in Star Wars legends, aka Star Wars stories, outside of the six original Star Wars movies produced by Lucas, it was. It seems that the Mandalarian is connected to those legends.
