The LG Wing may have a surprisingly thin flip-around screen, as shown in the new leaks

LG’s next “wing” smartphone is expected to be a dual screen device with a swirling mechanism, and the flipped screen could be surprisingly thin, as shown in the phone’s new leaks.

Take a look at this video for yourself – when this person, who looks like he has a phone, shows the side profile of the device, you can see that the rotating screen looks quite thin:

The video also gives us a good look at the wing’s swiveling mechanism in action, allowing one screen to rotate 90 degrees horizontally over another so that they are arranged in a T-shaped shape.

And in the image shared by Liquor Evan Blass, included at the top of this post, you can get another pic of the device’s thin-looking side profile. Blass’s image also suggests that the wing will have a triple camera setup, come in two colors, and support 5G networks.

In august, Android Authority Posted an imaginative video of the device, although that video showed the phone in the cradle of the car, and it’s hard to get a good idea of how thick the phone is. And LG has hinted at the sweeping mechanism and wing silhouette in the video teaser for the phone’s launch event.

LG confirmed the “Wing” naming on September 6, and the launching event is set to begin on September 14 at 10 p.m.
