The latest Google Assistant games are designed for your smart screen

We had some idea that this was going to happen. In June, Google released a handful of developer tools aimed at making Google Assistant more capable. As part of that update, it announced the Continuous Match mode, which allows a device’s microphone to stay temporarily open instead of just listening after the Wizard finishes speaking. Google said that would allow for more realistic round-trip conversations with the Assistant and allow for some fun interactions.

At the time, we learned that the web game maker Coolgames was using the Continuous Match function to create a new Guess the drawing exercise. That game is coming to Google’s smart screens today. You can guess what is drawn on the screen as fast as you can and you can compete in real time with other players or simply challenge yourself.

As Google makes it easier for developers to work with Assistant and everyone searches for new home activities, the company says this is just the beginning. We can expect new titles to come throughout the year.
