Apple’s new iPhone 12 Pro Max is powered by a 3,687 mAh battery, about 7% less than the iPhone 11 Pro Max’s 3,969 mAh battery, according to a regulatory filing published by FCC’s Chinese counterpart Tena.
As seen in the benchmark results last week, the regulatory filing, seen by MQumers, also lists the iPhone 12 Pro Max with 6GB of RAM.
Apple Play has filed many products with Tena over the years, and has proven to be true on the occasions listed. Last year, for example, the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max with accurate battery capacity and RAM, appeared in the database a few days before those devices were launched. One rumor also suggested that the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a battery of 3,687 mAh earlier this year.
Despite the small battery, Apple Pul’s tech specs suggest that the iPhone 12 Pro Max has the same battery life as the iPhone 11 Pro Max, with both devices offering up to 20 hours of video playback and up to 80 hours of Dio playback.
Apple Pal never reveals battery capacity or RAM in iPhones, but new device teardrops should confirm these details in the coming days.
