The image of the Indian photographer of Jupiter-Saturn connection is getting a lot of praise online

Astronomers were flooded on social media with images of the great connection between Jupiter and Saturn, but a photo of Australia has received much praise on social media.

An Indian photographer in Melbourne clicked a remarkable photo of a rare celestial event in which the two planets came close to each other for the first time in almost 400 years.

Facebook user Sejal Chakraborty captured not only Saturn and Jupiter but also the four largest moons of Jupiter in the photograph. Captured using only DSLR cameras and telephoto lenses, Chakraborty’s image received much praise.

The image has received more than 1.2 million likes since it was shared on the platform by Twitter user Rebecca Hill.

Chakraborty told indianexpress.com how he stacked 25 images to get the clarity seen in the final image.

“It simply came to our notice then. I used the interview omemeter for the shutter and stacked multiple exposures to get the details.

“It was a rainy day here on the 21st. So I had only one small window of opportunity where I could catch them nearby, ”he said, adding that the photo was taken around 7.30pm.

Chakraborty said he only shared images on some photography groups and the f-line fame was blind.

“I wanted to capture the celestial event in the best way possible with the equipment. I have a simple tripod, a 10-year Canon 60D and a 10-year Canon 75-300mm lens. So, I have to do everything from the beginning, ”he said.

The image has been praised by many, but there were also plenty of funny reactions and memes in response:
