The high-performance SUVs of the VW Drag Race group finish in photographic finish

Crossovers and SUVs these days are far from what they were before. They have been transformed into speed machines, so powerful that they can even match supercars in terms of power output.

Of all the performance SUVs on the market today, the Volkswagen Group has a lot on its list, coming from four different brands under its umbrella. These are the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid, Audi RS Q8, Bentley Bentayga W12, and Lamborghini Urus.

All of these huge SUVs use VW’s MLB platform, but of course they all vary in terms of weight, gearboxes, and power output. Which of these nameplates are the fastest in an endurance race?

Somehow, Carwow He was able to put all these SUVs together and organize a race in a straight line to see which one is the supreme. But before watching the video, here is a summary of the numbers.

The Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid uses a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8, but consumes additional power from an electric motor for a combined output of 671 horsepower (500 kilowatts) and 664 pound-feet (900 Newton-meters) of torque. Tilt the scale at 5,655 pounds (2,565 kilograms).

The Urus, on the other hand, also works with the same, albeit slightly tuned, 4.0-liter V8 biturbo but only produces 641 hp (478 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) of turns. It is much lighter than the Porsche at 4,850 pounds (2,200 kg).

The Audi RS Q8 is the least powerful of the group, although it uses the same biturbo V8 found in the Porsche and Lambo. It produces 592 hp (441 kW) and 590 lb-ft (800 Nm) of torque, pulling its unladen weight of 5,104 lb (2315 kg).

Finally, the Bentley Bentayga here is probably the most unique. In addition to the installed body kits, it is powered by the famous dual-turbo W12 engine that produces 600 hp (447 kW) and 664 lb-ft (900 Nm) of traction, weighing in at around 5,379 lb (2,440 kg) .
