“The Haunting of Bly Manor” Poster asks you to look below the surface; Coming autumn


The marketing campaign for Netflix and ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ mastermind Mike Flanagan‘s “The Haunting of Bly Manor” has officially kicked off this morning, with the streaming service debuting the first official poster art and announcing an arrival of Fall 2020.

All we really know about Netflix’s “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” the second season of the horror anthology series that began with “The Haunting of Hill House,” is that it’s set to adapt Henry James‘psychological gothic horror novella The turn of the screw, but as it turns out, that’s not the only James-penned story “Bly Manor” will bring to the screen.

The thing I have access to that has no other adaptation of The Turn of to the Screw is the rest of Henry James’ ghost stories. I get to use them all, ”Told Flanagan Games Radar.

He went on, “The Turn of the Screw is just one of a dozen stories we tell. ”

‘All Henry James; all thematically linked. I think of Turn of the Screw as the backbone of this season – the continuous line that carries us from beginning to end. But we must enter The Jolly Corner en The romance of certain old clothes, and so many other of these wonderful ghost stories that people have not seen before. ”

  • Axelle Carolyn (Tales of Halloween, “Grim Grinning Ghost”)

“The Haunting of Hill House” stars Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Kate Siegel, Victoria Pedretti en Henry Thomas will all return to play new characters in “Bly Manor.”

The cast also includes Catherine Parker (“The Haunting of Hill House”), T’Nia Miller, Rahul Kohli, Amelia Eve, Benjamin Ainsworth en Amelie Smith.
