The official start of the Daniel Jones era, Manning retired at the end of the 2019 season. Jones will start the first week 1 of his career. He took over the responsibility of manning 3 weeks before the regular season. He finished in 13 games with 3,027 passing yards, 24 touchdown passes and 12 interceptions.

Manning, 39, completed his career with 57,023 pass yards, 366 touchdown passes and 4,895 completions. As a starter in the regular season, he finished with a record of 117-117 over 16 years. He also helped the Giants win two Super Bowls – both over the New England Patriots.
Following the announcement of his retirement, the Giants released a statement saluting Manning for his contribution to the organization and releasing two of his Super Bowl MVPs.
John Fischer, president and chief executive of the Giants, said in a statement in January, “For 16 seasons, Eli Manning has defined that he wants to be a New York giant both on and off the field.
