The first A14 benchmarks of the iPad Air 4 appear online

The iPad Air 4 is believed to be the benchmark for Apple’s A14 bionic processor, first discovered by a Twitter user.Ice universe, Reveals that the A14 significantly improves the performance of the iPhone 11 over the A13 Bionic.

The GeekBench benchmark for “iPad 13.2” with motherboard number J308AP was uploaded yesterday. According to the so-called liqueurL0vetodream, “The 308 AP is the cellular iPad Air 4, and the J 307 AP is the ID iPad Air 4 with Wi-Fi only.

The core core chip is said to have a base frequency of 2.99GHz and 3.66GB of memory, with a score of 1,583 for single-core and 4,198 for multi-core.

This is significantly higher than 1,336 in single-core and 3,569 in multi-core for A13 Bionic. Compared to the 2020 iPad Pro’s A12Z chip, the A14 is slightly lower at 1,118 than the A12Z in single-core and 4,564 than the multi-core. The A12Z has an extra GPU core compared to the A12Z.

While Apple Play reported during the announcement of the fourth-generation iPad Air that the A14 offers 12 percent faster performance and 30 percent faster graphics than the previous iPad Air with 12 Bionic, this benchmark provides a more tangible point of comparison. They give the best performance yet which performance will probably see an improvement in the iPhone 12 lineup.

The IdeaPad Air 4 with the A14 Bionic is due to go on sale sometime this month, and with marketing materials reaching the Apple Plus stores, its launch doesn’t seem to be far off.
