Arthur Smith is the new head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
The team and the former Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator agreed to the terms on Friday, the organization announced. Smith is replacing Dan Quinn and Rahim Morris. Tough was fired by the Falcons after a tough start, and Morris was announced as interim coach, but was not rewarded.

Smith, 38, was with the Titans for 10 seasons, including the last two offensive coordinators under coach Mike Varabel. The Titans finished 10th in points and 12th in yards in 2019, and fourth in points and second in yards in 2020. Tennessee made the playoffs in both seasons.
Atlanta could use the increase in crime, something that has not been seen since Kyle Shanahan was committing the crime.

The Falcons went into the playoffs twice and lost to the New England Patriots after giving Super Bowl a 28-3 lead in overtime. Atlanta made playoffs during the 2017 season but bounced out of the divisional round. Atlanta has not returned since.
In Quinn’s time, Atlanta was in the top 10 in the yard, rising five times, but only finished in the top 10 in points scored twice. The team was led by Matt Ryan in the quarterback and Julio Jones in the wide receiver. The team can use another weapon or use their old enough to get back into the play aging fs.
AJ Brown, the Titans’ huge receiver, gave Smith the seal of approval on Twitter.

Brown tweeted, “Made me responsible from day one. Always trying to improve. Atlanta got better,” Brown tweeted.
