There weren’t many surprises at yesterday’s event, but there was one big one – and that was what frustrated the developers. Apple Play only gave one day notice about the official rollout of iOS 14, iPad. This contrasts with the usual week or so the developers are preparing to get ready.
This not only scrubbed them to complete updated versions of their apps, but some said Apple’s developer tools weren’t ready for launch either.
Many developers choose to take advantage of new features as they become available, as they can significantly increase interest in their applications. Others may be forced to update because newer OS versions can sometimes break things.
Mashable And TNW Frustrated with both the short notice and Apple’s own lack of readiness, everyone received some tweets from the developers.
Apple drops a big WTF on the moment, iOS 14 without giving developers any notification, or final tools, to submit their notification tomorrow.
Who agreed a lot in the answers.
“I do not understand? They usually give us a week? What do they do ?! “
“Yeah, this caught me by surprise. The user experience will not be excellent for any application that needs / updates. “
“Apple Pal really hates developers this year.”
“Now we all know how the FaceTime team would have felt when Steve said it would be an open standard.”
