The Cowboys ’Keenu Neil is safely switching to the WLB

Kenu Neil played five asons tuo for safety in Atlanta. Not only are the newly sung Dallas cowboys turning into cities, but it will also have a new status.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reports that according to sources familiar with the Cowboys situation, Neil plans to turn to weaker pages.

The potential move was speculated before Neil agreed to a one-year, 5 5 million deal with the Cowboys over the weekend.

Neil’s hard-hitting style and ability to step up against the run make for an interesting move switch on the linebacker. Given that the new Cowboys conservation coordinator Dan Quinn never did, the move in Atlanta will add extra interest to the position swap.

We’ve seen mixed results in recent years in some of the so-called ‘money’ backers – an attempt at greater safety to switch to a linebacker. Listed at 6 ft-1, 216 lbs, we’ll see if Neil can make a positive transition. If he becomes an effective linebacker, Neil will hit the next off-fee ason in the open market towards more options.

In 2017, Pro Bowl safety, Neil’s career took a turn for the worse. He lost everything except four games from 2018-2019. While on the field, however, he has proven to be an executor with the series. He has played at least 100 games each season, playing at least 14 games.

With Neil slotted to the linebacker, the question is what that means for Leighton Vendor Sch and Jillian Smith. LVE decides to patrol in the middle. Smith could move on to the role of the collapsing LO in Quinn’s system, seeing his urge to rush the passenger.

Although he’s shaken up, moving to Neil Linebacker gives the Cowboys versatility at a moderate level of defense, especially as the coverage upgrades.

The move means the cowboy is still in the market for extra safety assistance. Rapport reports that the Cowboys are hosting free agents Malik Hooker and Damonte Kazi. The latter also played under Quinn in Atlanta.
