The Chrome OS 87 tab combines detection and Bluetooth device battery level

Chrome OS 87 is now rolling out, and while browsing the web and using Bluetooth accessories (via 9to5Google).

A new addition to Chrome OS 87 is Tab Search. I usually have dozens of tabs open at any given time, so I can see how a tab search can be a really easy way to find something lost in the process. Google is also adding tabbed search to the desktop version of Chrome, although the company said in mid-November that the feature would first come to Chromebooks and other desktop .p platforms.

Chrome OS 87 can now also show you the battery levels of Bluetooth devices connected to your computer (such as wireless headphones) in the Settings and Quick Settings menus. I always use the same feature on my Mac to find out when my AirPods may need to be charged, so I think this might be really useful on Chrome OS.

Google has also added 36 new wallpapers from four different artists to Chrome OS 87.
