Heidi Strupp was put in the post after Chief of Staff Mark Meadows notified federal agencies in September, while the White House is changing all of their licenses, which is widely seen as a step to establish loyalists in the role. Strup’s pressure on Justice Department staff is another example of the Trump administration’s involvement in the debate over alleged widespread electoral fraud.
