Jupiter and Saturn are also very close to each other tonight, and Jupiter’s opposition will be presented on Monday night. This is when Jupiter is in front of the sun, in relation to the earth; which means that Jupiter will be at its best. The maximum opposition occurs at 4 in the morning of Tuesday, July 14.

Then there is Venus, which is the third brightest object in our sky after the sun and the moon. Venus is bright in the eastern sky, and rises approximately 2 1/2 hours before sunrise.

How about the weather?
We will have some clouds tonight over the Detroit subway, but also some breaks. The wind will be light and will cool the next two nights with temperatures between 60 and 50 degrees. Monday night will offer clearer skies to observe the sky.
