Not exactly a banner day for MLB efforts to play through a pandemic. The Cardinals may have been extra positive and have axed another series. The Indians had to send a player home because he decided to go out with friends against protocols.
And now the A’s and Astros came in full brawl:

Field transfer should be very unlikely considering the limited exposures, the natural distance and the outdoor nature of baseball. Unless you do. I know teams and players are hot on the Astros, and I know there will be change like this. But a break? All those guys clumping together, hugging and puffing each other like that? It is the dream of the coronavirus.
Apparently, it was Astros who shot coach Alex Cintron and A’s outfielder Ramon Laureano, and will both be severely punished for this. Cintron, as a coach, will likely hammer, and rightly so.
Hopefully it’s just a matter of measuring this penalty and not worrying about a positive test appearing for one of these teams and then worrying that there was the next spread – remember, there is a delay between the time tests are taken and the time results are received. You want to talk about MLB’s nightmare scenario? It’s one of those guys who comes back with a positive morning from a test she took this morning.
UPDATE: I will not * completely * excuse Laureano here, but if this is true, his reaction is quite understandable, and also this coach should be suspended for the season:
Bob Melvin on the brawl: “Ramón will not go there unless something completely insulting came out of the dugout. And I think the league knew who that was. And that person needs to be stopped. That’s hopefully it. case. “

We will know more soon, but a person I respect is told that the A’s Ramón Laureano sued Alex Cintron because Cintron called Laureano’s mother in a bad way.
