The 2021 Tesla model receives 3 major and minor changes: inventory

Tesla doesn’t make year-round changes like traditional carmakers, so it’s not always easy to track changes. The model year of 2021 is different.

The latest Model Dell 3 has a lot of updates, not just big ones. Many of the changes are only Model 3 that reaches Model Y, including most of the ones listed below.

The list is not exhaustive, but covers up-fold changes. A new owner based in Utah has posted videos covering most of the changes (see below) (see also this 2021 Model 3 owner video).

  • Increased Range: 2021 Tesla Model 3 Long Range AWD now has an EPA estimated range of 353 miles over 2020 miles.
  • The heat pump comes in Model 3 – already in Model Y – which increases the efficiency of the AC
  • Power lift for trunk / liftgate (previously only on Model Y)
  • Chrome trim (e.g., door handles) now black (satin finish)
  • Glass now double pen for “better” sound proofing (see video 3:14)
  • Fixed: Trunk water leakage – Owners complained of water leaking into the trunk when it rained. Now, with the new weather bar, fixing the problem, the water flows on both sides
  • The steering wheel “feels thicker” has better grip and the rotary dials are metal
  • New Arrow Wheels
  • The USB port for the desk for me is now in the glove box
