Later, the game developed quite similarly to the other games in this series. The Rangers scored two runs, giving them a total of five for the season, while the pitch wasn’t as sharp as the first two days, which shouldn’t come as a big surprise considering the bullpen had to cover eight innings. However, the Rangers are allowing 2.67 runs for nine so far.
The most notable difference between them and their opponent was once again the fact that the Rockies seem quite stellar on defense, while the Rangers do not. That doesn’t bode well for the way the team is built, honestly.
And so, the Rangers lost 5-2 and are 1-2 with 5% of the season in the books. But, hey, at least it’s baseball.
Game player: Batting is not very good. The launch is pretty good. Defense is suspicious. Corey Kluber is an unknown risk of injury. Starting center fielder and No. 3 hitter Danny Santana hopes to avoid the tag by chance. Rougned Odor is a lightning rod designed to make us yell at us online. And Joey Gallo is the talent.
These Rangers are eerily as expected so far in 2020.
