The mask continues – at least on Kroger.

The Kruger family of companies, which make up America’s largest chain of Karusi outlets, have announced its ongoing mask requirements for both employees and consumers – despite the recent reversal of COVID-safety policies in the two states.

The company’s announcement came in response specifically to the governors of Texas and Mississippi, who fulfilled their respective orders this week.

“The most urgent priority of the Conger Family Companies is to provide a safe environment for our partners and customers while meeting our social responsibility to provide open stores, e-commerce solutions and an efficient operating supply chain.” Fresh foods are available, “a Krog spokesman said in an email statement shared with Fox News.

“To ensure the continued safety of our customers and affiliates, the Kruger Family .f Companies will require everyone in our stores across the country to wear a mask until all of our frontline grocery affiliates have received the COVID-19 vaccine,” the statement added. “We also continue to advocate for federal, state and local authorities to give priority to frontline grocery workers for the vaccine rollout plan, and we will pay a one-time payment of 100 100 to collaborators receiving the recommended dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.”

The spokesperson confirmed that the chain would still follow the CDC’s other guidelines, including recommendations for handwashing and social distance.
