Tesla (TSLA) will see a rise in share prices on strong delivery expectations

With just a few days left in the Tesla stock price (TSLA) quarter, it is putting more pressure on people trying to figure out if it can reach its delivery target.

An analyst is raising expectations.

As we have been reporting for the past few weeks, Tesla aims to deliver a record number of vehicles to achieve 500,000 deliveries this quarter in 2020 – a long-term goal for the automaker.

To achieve the target, Tesla must deliver 181,000 vehicles this quarter. It has more than 40,000 vehicles in its last quarter delivery record, which was received in the last quarter alone.

In a new note to customers on Wednesday, Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said he sees Tesla distributing 190,000 to 200,000 vehicles in Q4:

“Based on a preliminary analysis and delivery of our global demand for Tesla in 4Q, it appears that Musk & Co. will likely exceed hand-to-hand street and interior expectations.”

This certainly exceeds expectations as many still have doubts about Tesla even though its goal is to achieve the target of 181,000 vehicles.

Last week, we reported on an email sent to employees by Tesla CEO Elon Musk stating that Tesla could still achieve its target of 500,000 cars in 2020, but that they would need to ‘run all’ with just a few days left. Year.

Looking back over the next few years, Ives is positive about Tesla’s business in China:

“We believe that this dynamic demand will disproportionately benefit Tesla, the leader in the clear EV category over the next few years, especially in the key China sector, which is expected to account for 40% of its EV deliveries by 2022, given the current rapid pace of sales.”

Analysts estimate that Tesla could have 1 million global deliveries by 2022 from 500,000 vehicles delivered in 2020.

Wedbush has a price target of 15,715 on Tesla – one of the highest on Wall Street.

Shares of Tesla are trading around% 680, up 2% of the stock today – a shame at its highest high of 5,695 per share.
