Tesla (TSLA) is hosting its Battery Day and 2020 shareholders meeting today, and we’re going to post all the important news coming out of the event at the Electric News Hub.
The event – or both events, depending on how you view it – will be held at Tesla’s 901 Page Avenue facility in Fremont, California.
It is supposed to start at 1:30 pm PDT / 4: 30 pm EDT (and you can check your own timezone here), but delays are possible and even possible. It’s a Tesla event after all.
Tesla shareholders meeting 2020
Tesla will begin with its 2020 shareholders meeting.
Shareholder meetings begin with votes on official items, including re-election of a few directors this year, including votes on proposals from several shareholders, including Elon Musk himself, ratification of Tesla’s accounting firm, and Tesla Paid Advertising.
After the official things, CEO Elon Musk, and sometimes other Tesla executives, will take questions from the audience and in-line shareholders.
Tesla Battery Day
Immediately after the shareholders’ meeting, Tesla will begin its Battery Day presentation.
We don’t know exactly what that presentation will look like, but Tesla expects to explain its plans to increase battery supply, including the production of its own new battery cells.
You can read our Battery Day preview here for more details.
Tesla event livestream
Livestream will be available here as soon as Tesla enables it.
The event has our eyes and ears, and we are watching our reporters sitting at home to bring you all the interesting information that will be announced today.
