Tesla Model S refresh vehicles were recently seen leaving the Fremont factory on a car carrier truck. Some car carriers with Model 3 and Model Y cars also came to the north. Traces of trucks carrying Tesla vehicles indicate that the company’s quarter-end pressure is on.
Twitter user Codingmark Some Model S took snapshots of car carriers transporting refreshing vehicles from the Fremont factory. E.V. The community member initially speculated that both the Model S Refresh and Model S Plaid vehicles were on the car carrier, but a closer inspection of the images suggests the cars were earlier.
Ever since Tesla announced the availability of the Model S Plaid, all eyes have been on the Framant factory. The parking lot of the facility has recently been constantly filled with Model S refresh. The idea drew attention to the fact that customer delivery of the improved flagship sedan is about to begin.
During the earnings call in January, Elon Musk announced that delivery of the Plaid Model S would begin in February. Musk estimates were slightly off last month as there were no deliveries. After all, the delivery of the Model S Plaid seems to be experiencing some “alone time”, a trend that Musk himself has acknowledged in the past. The Tesla CEO said, “I always deliver what I say, maybe not within the timeframe I say.”
As Model S refresh cars are now being transported, Plaid Model S vehicles may be the next car to leave the main manufacturing facility in Telina California. The Model S plaid delivery could make a significant difference to Tesla’s first quarter, similar to the impact the Model Y’s delivery had on the Q1 last year. With just a few weeks left to go in March, the Plaid Model S is bound to grow with excitement and curiosity for delivery.
If the Model S Plaid doesn’t make deliveries by the end of March, it will still play a significant role in Tesla’s next quarter earnings. Delivery of the Plaid Model D S could begin next month, kicking the Q2 with a strong kick.
