Tesla is withdrawing its warranty on used cars

Tesla has quietly appealed to him to buy one of his used cars. Like Electric Point out, a few days ago, Tesla offered a two to four year warranty on used Model S and Model X vehicles. However, visit the company’s website today and you’ll see that it offers coverage of one year or 10,000 miles instead. The updated policy is in addition to the company’s new car warranty, which covers the vehicle for 4 years or 50,000 miles. That means Tesla will have at least one year of support for the 2016 or more model vehicles on the market if they buy the car directly from the company.

Electric Why not say why Tesla changed policy. The company does not currently operate a public relations department for comment requests from the media. The move comes just days after The Tommaker stopped offering its seven-day return policy, and in the same month Tesla announced its best quarter for delivery. Tesla CEO Elon Musk could give insights into both decisions this weekend when the company reports its third-quarter earnings on Wednesday.
