Tesla is preparing to launch a full self-driving subscription, putting a deadline on the Enhanced Aut Topilot

Tesla is preparing to launch a new full self-driving monthly subscription based on an update to its mobile app and is putting a deadline on the newly re-launched Advanced op Topilot package.

Earlier this year, we reported on indications that Tesla was working on a go-to subscription, like paying for its full self-driving (FSD) package.

Later, CEO Elon Musk confirmed that Tesla plans to release such an option “by the end of the year.”

Yesterday Tesla re-launched its enhanced op topilot package focusing back on the price of the FSD package, we have seen evidence that the subscription launch may be imminent.

RADIDATOR / U / KUMP Lump 01 will be able to do some reverse engineer in Tesla’s upgraded section of its mobile app to reveal the new ‘Subscribe’ section:

While Tesla has had codes for the preparation of a new subscription model for some time, this update at the end of the year indicates that Tesla is preparing to release a new way to access its fully self-driving software.

While confirming plans to offer a monthly subscription to access the features, Musk clarified that buying an FSD package would be the best option financially:

“I must say, in our opinion, buying FSD would still make sense. Buying FSD is an investment in the future. And we are confident that it is an investment that will pay off for the benefit of the consumer. In my opinion, buying an FSD option is something that people will not regret. ”

However, the monthly subscription makes more sense for people who rent their Tesla vehicles and for those who don’t want to commit to paying $ 8,000.

As we reported yesterday, Tesla also introduced a new version of its enhanced op topilot package in the En 4,000 as an alternative to the full self-driving package.

We noted that this was an opportunistic move at the end of the quarter and now Tesla has confirmed it in a new email to customers promoting the package and said that it has until September 30, which is the end of the quarter, to place an order.

Take the electric

I think the subscription model makes sense for some people.

For Tesla, it also makes sense but at a very high price. I wouldn’t be surprised if it costs me $ 100 per month.

Although I wouldn’t be surprised if Tesla would break down some features to allow people to enhance some features, unlike the advanced op topilot, and not just the FSD package.

But I just thought of something. Will the subscription only be available to owners of Tesla vehicles who already have a hardware F. 3.0 FSD computer?

Retrofit isn’t cheap, but it makes sense for Tesla to do it if it gets 000 8,000 for an FSD software package

With a monthly subscription, there will be a huge cost to retrieve at Tesla.
