Check out the companies that make headlines around the clock:

Tesla – The electric automaker jumped 7% in trading after hours after announcing a five-for-one stock split. Trading will begin on a stock split-adjusted basis on August 31, the company said. Theoretically, the move could mean that smaller investors can pay for the stock, but nothing fundamentally changes about the security.

Eastman Kodak – Shares of the camera company popped nearly 7% in trading after hours on Tuesday following their quarterly earnings. Kodak said although the Covid-19 crisis affected its volume sales in the second quarter, the company expects “improvement in both sales volumes and working capital in Q3.” Kodak’s revenue fell in the second quarter of a year ago.

Super Micro Computer – Shares of the computer company dipped 6% in trading after hours after issuing weak guidance of current quarter. Super Micro Computer expects to earn between 10 and 35 cents per share, prompting FactSet estimates to earn earnings of 56 cents per share.

Viavi Solutions – Shares of IT services provider rose 2% to close on Tuesday after its better-than-expected quarterly revenue. The company reported non-GAAP earnings of 18 cents per share, while analysts surveyed by FactSet expected 13 cents per share. Income above estimate as well.

For Biotechnology – Shares of the biotechnology company jumped nearly 3% in expanded trading on Tuesday after its second-quarter report. The company reported a loss of 27 cents per share, compared to a loss of $ 3.64 per share a year ago.

Shutterstock – Shutterstock shares rose slightly in expanding trading on Tuesday after their 14.5% drop during the session. The stock fell after announcing a public offering of $ 250 million of stock after the clock on Monday. The submission said $ 200 million of the share was sold by founder Jon Oringer.
