Tesla 2021 releases new model 3 wheels with refresh

Tesla has introduced a new Model 3 wheel design as part of its 2021 refresh and vehicles are starting to arrive on the ship.

Over the last few days, we’ve been updating Model 3 with a significant refresh on Tesla recently, including many new features.

The rollout is kind of weird as none of the new features have been confirmed despite RemTomeker starting shipping a new vehicle from the Fremont factory.

Now the new Model Dell 3 car was being taken out of the new wheeled Fremont factory.

The electric reader looked at the truck spots of the 2021 Model 3 vehicles near Tesla’s Fremont factory and we can see that they are equipped with a brand new wheel design, which has never been seen on the Model 3 until now:

The new design is similar to Tesla’s 19 ” Sport Wheels with a slight difference.

When the spokes are the same, the new design features a wide rim that meets the spot flat (sports wheel on the left and a new design on the right):

The new design leaves much less open space in the cycle and therefore, it should be much more aerodynamic, which helps in efficiency.

This is just one of the few new changes to the 2021 Tesla Model 3 that we have been able to visually confirm over the last few days.

We think there is a lot under the hood to speak of. Stay tuned for more information.

Take the electric

It’s kind of weird that Tesla doesn’t actually announce the changes even though they’re actually carrying those cars.

It looks like this particular Model 3s is going to the international market.

Unless Tesla really warns buyers or changes the organizer for that particular market, it’s weird that Tesla will deliver vehicles with wheels that weren’t actually ordered.

I guess they assume customers won’t mind with all the other changes and upgrades to the car?

Maybe it could also be inventory vehicles to publish after the changes are officially announced?
