Terrence Howard He claims to be hustling because 20th Century Fox uses its similarities from “Hustle and Flow” to promote “Empire” … so now he’s suing the studio.
Terrence – who played Lucius Leon on all 6 asons of “Empire” Tuo – claimed to 20th Century Fox when asked how he came up with the “Empire” logo … because it never sits a photoshoot .
In the discs obtained by TMZ, Terrence says he finally decided that the image was taken from the “Hustle and Flow” scene where “It’s Hard Out Here for a Pimp” is being recorded in the studio.
According to DX … Terrence says, “Straight frame was chosen, inverted (face facing left, not right), and subjected to CGI which distinguishes skillful capture with the vibrant light and shadow of the cinematographer’s head “The logo of the empire.
Terrence is offended because he says he would have paid through Paramount – the studio behind “Hustle and Flow” – if 20th Century Fox had received a proper license to use his image from the movie. He is suing for damages and wants an account of all Empire Peppers using the logo.
