Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule spoke about the newly signed QB Teddy Bridgewater via the Panthers official website. Rhule expressed his confidence in the 27-year-old as he prepares to enter his as the starting QB. The Giants’ old assistant offensive line remains firm that Bridgewater will be the integration the Panthers needed.
Additionally, there have been questions surrounding Bridgewater’s launch arm that entered its period with the franchise. The 2014 first-round draft of QB has yet to be established in its paper in terms of certain minute details of a successful QB.
Matt Rhule in Teddy Bridgewater
If head coach Matt Rhule is believed, Bridgewater’s incomplete past with a field-goal shot will not be an obstacle.
“I really don’t listen, I hear those things. Teddy, for us, is exactly what we want. You certainly have the arm strength to do it. But I think you have done what you have been asked to do. I think one of the best things that is one of the strengths of our team is that Robby Anderson is a deep game threat. Curtis Samuel is a deep game threat. DJ Moore is a deep game threat “ Rhule said.
“So we feel like we have the power to take advantage of the ball downfield, and we know that Teddy can do that.”
The former college coach has been involved in the training of a number of athletes who joined the NFL. Although he’s relatively new to the league as a head coach, he doesn’t lack experience. Furthermore, Rhule has also expressed great belief in the offensive system that the Panthers have healed under Joe Brady.
Teddy Bridgewater has proven his ability on the field with an impressive 5-0 run as New Orleans Saints QB in 2019. He replaced Drew Brees, who suffered a thumb injury in Week 3. In addition, Bridgewater has demonstrated the ability to adapt to a dynamic offensive team around you in the past.
In light of these statements, all eyes will be on the Panthers QB as the 2020 season approaches.
