On Monday night, Teamfight Tactics’ Lead Designer, Stephen “Mortdog” Mortimer, gave the auto-chess community a look at what they can expect in the upcoming 10.17 patch. Set to go live on Wednesday, several small adjustments to numbers will be rolled out and the team feels confident in the current state of the meta ahead of the launch of Set 4 in September.
Posted on his official YouTube channel, Mortimer dissected what is and does not work and why certain changes were made.
Pull
Sniper 10/18% bonus damage per Hex is reduced to 9/16%
Champion
Jarvin- His armor is reduced from 45 to 40.
Poppy- Their magic resist is buffed from 30 to 35.
Blitzcrank- His base weapon gets a buff of 33%, from 45 to 60.
Cassiopeia- Her spell damage once she is 3-star goes from 3000 to 3500.
Neeko- Her spell damage once she is 3-star drops to 450 out of 500.
Master Yi- The true damage of his ultimate is nerfed from 75/100/150 to 70/95/145.
Shaco- His base weapon is reduced from 25 to 20.
Riven- Their base HP is pumped from 800 to 850 and their magic resistance sees a 50% boost (from 20 to 30).
Xerath- The champion with five costs has his damage from the spell crashed to 320/440/2500 from 300/400/2500.
Gangplank- The pirate is too strong and his spell damage goes from 550/700/9001 to 525/675/9001.
Items
Hand of Justice- The damage as healed bonus of the reworked item is reduced from 50% to 45%.
Titan’s Resolve- The maximum stacks of the article fall from 50 to 25.
The exact time the patch will go live is not currently known, but it should fall between the typical hours of 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. PT.
