Tarrant County Records Record of 15 Additional COVID-19 Deaths – NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth


Tarrant County Public Health reported 15 additional COVID-19 deaths on Saturday, the largest single-day increase in reported virus-related deaths.

Cases include an 80-year-old woman, three 80-year-old men and two 90-year-old women, all Grapevine residents; two Arlington women, including one 60 and one 90; two 80-year-old men, two 50-year-old women and one 60-year-old man, all from Fort Worth; and two 70-year-old Lake Worth men.

They all had underlying health conditions.

The county also added 584 new cases of coronavirus.

New cases were reported in Arlington, Azle, Bedford, Benbrook, Blue Mound, Burleson, Colleyville, Crowley, Edgecliff Village, Euless, Everman, Forest Hill, Fort Worth, Grand Prairie, Grapevine, Haltom city, Haslet, Hurst, Keller, Kennedale , Lake Worth, Lakeside, Mansfield, North Richland Hills, Pantego, Pelican Bay, Richland Hills, River Oaks, Saginaw, Sansom Park, Southlake, Watauga, Westworth Village, White Settlement and unincorporated parts of the county.

Tarrant County has reported a total of 25,146 cases, 344 deaths, and 11,959 recoveries.
