An activist who co-founded the Women’s March told Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron on Friday to run the office of Brona Taylor’s case:
Tamika Mallory also stood with lawyers for Tamiller’s family during a news conference in Louisville, who denied that Cameron could directly accuse police officers in connection with Taylor’s death during a March 13 drug raid.
Speaking to reporters, Mallory compared Cameron to black men who helped white slave traders.

“Daniel Cameron is no different than the sold-out Negroes who sold our people into slavery and helped white men abuse their people and catch them in traffic.” “That’s you, Daniel Cameron.
“You sold and through the system you used to hurt your own mama, your own black mama,” he added. “We have no respect for you, no respect for your black skin because all our skinfolk are not our kinship and you are not black.”
Based on evidence presented by the state’s first black attorney general, Cameron, the grand jury chose to charge an officer involved in the robbery. Brett Hankison, who was fired from the group in June, faces three counts of endangering first-degree warrants for tablets entering some apartment apartment units near Taylor’s neighborhood.

Officers fired more than 20 shots, killing Taylor six times. The 34-year-old Cameron of the Republican said the investigation found the sergeant’s action. Jonathan Mattingley and Detective Miles Cosgrove were acquitted.
Mary Larry noted that Cameron’s announcement came 65 years after an all-white jury acquitted two white men accused of killing Emmett Till in Mississippi.
“Now I don’t know if it’s just Daniel Cameron stupid or he’s very, very clear about history and decided to wait six months and come forward with this announcement, the garbage we got for sure” Emmet Till’s family received similar results. The same day, ”he said.
In response to Friday’s news briefing, Cameron’s office fee said he understood that “the outcome of the grand jury proceedings did not live up to their expectations.”

“Regarding today’s statements at the press conference, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but the prosecutor and the grand jury members are bound by the facts and the law,” Elizabeth Kuhn, Cameron’s director of communications, told Fox News. “Attorney General Cameron is committed to doing everything possible to ensure the integrity of the prosecutor before him and to continue fulfilling his moral obligations as a lawyer and as a partner in the ongoing federal investigation.”
