Tamar Braxton is “awake and alert” after her suicide attempt.
The singer-turned-reality star was found unanswered at her Los Angeles home on Thursday night by her boyfriend. An overdose of prescription drugs was reportedly rushed to the hospital.
Now, the Blast reports that he is stable and is discussing “his situation and the days leading up to hospitalization” with doctors. Meanwhile, sources tell Page Six that she was transferred to a different hospital.
“Tamar has been transferred to another facility for further evaluation and treatment,” confirmed his representative. They added: “The great amount of support Tamar has received is a testament to the light it brings to the people.”
She has been visited by her sisters Towanda, Trina, and Traci, and stars like Tiny Harris, Viola Davis, Nene Leakes, and Claudia Jordan have shown their support online.
A source told us that Braxton “has a lot to process and is focused on his well-being, mental health and the care of his son, Logan,” who is 7 years old.
