Another week has passed and gone, and this brought the anniversary of the Paper Mario series, stories of legendary industry figures smelling in the darkroom of the office, even more enjoyable about Nintendo’s boss of Xbox, and – certainly the biggest story of the week – the mysterious disappearance of Mario’s nipples.
Nintendo Life members have outlined their plans for this weekend below, and we’d love to hear from you via our question and comment section. Enjoy!

I am currently on a work holiday, which means I continue as normal, except when I inhale fresh mountain air instead of harsh office dust, and my WiFi is about a quarter the speed I am used to.
I grabbed my trusted Switch of course, although I also got through 4 AAs, my Game Boy and a handful of classics in my case, so hopefully I get a chance to blow through Donkey Kong, Gargoyle’s Quest and play some more Mol Mania, ek. As you can see, I am constantly at the very flowering edge of gaming, me.

The next few days I hope to complete the absolutely glorious Paper Mario: The Origami King which I have been slowly crawling through the evenings with my kids, probably one of my favorite Mario games for quite some time, that one. Somewhere else I will blow through Minecraft Dungeons‘Jungle Awakens DLC in preparation for next month’s Creeping Winter content and, if I have time, finish it Carrion, which I also really enjoyed. There’s just something about slipping into a room full of horrible people, observing their futile attempts to hide pathetic defenses, and then whipping in for a horrible kill that really relaxed me. Do you know what I mean? Have a great weekend everyone!

This weekend … is pretty much like most weekends of late, to be very honest. I’m stuck in this hiding place, where I keep jumping to various games in my backyard – Paper Mario: The Origami King, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, and even older titles and DLC like Luigi’s Mansion 3, Pokemon Shield… As always I have trouble focusing on just one game and completing it, and then I end up overwhelmed and just play Animal Crossing or go korok on hunting Breath of the Wild. If anyone has any suggestions to put an end to this video game ADHD, please drop them in the comments below – I’m desperate.

This past week I really found myself in a lot of id Software games, probably because QuakeCon aired last weekend and there were a number of outlets on the Switch eShop. As a result, most of my weekend will be spent in it DOOM, DOOM II, de DOOM restart, DOOM 64, en The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
If I’m not into one of these games, I intend to spend time cleaning up my city in Animal Crossing – it’s so messy! Apart from this, I might try to have some of the themes that I have been missing in the last limited time Tetris 99 barren.
As always, thanks for reading! Make sure you leave a vote in the question above and a comment below with your game choices in the coming days …
