Takeoways from VIkings’ depth chart

Minnesota cut its roster on Saturday, then signed most of its practice team on Sunday. On Monday, the Vikings released the season’s first unofficial depth chart, giving fans and analysts an international insight into how the team could match the Packers in Week 1.

Minnesota doesn’t have many surprises on the Nes depth chart. The Dakota Dossier is an early left-back, which should come as no surprise after Aviant cut Collins, then signed to the practice team. Also, there weren’t too many new starters on the aggressive depth chart.

However, based on how the team listed the starters and backups, to collect some interesting items. How will the Vikings line up on the defensive back, defensive back and wide receiver?

Here are some key ways:

Wide receiver BC Johnson is a crucial starter

Wide receiver BC Johnson’s report at training camp was clearly number 2, and the unofficial chart depth chart removed some doubts as to whether it was possibly true.

Johnson was listed as a starter on Justin Jefferson. Adam Thilen and Johnson were the two starters, with the rest of the huge group listed under backups.

However it would be nice for Jefferson, who was drafted in the first round, to start immediately, the situation is not terrible.

Kyle Rudolph is TE1

This isn’t too crazy either. Rudolph has been the Vikings’ main base No. 1 option for a long time.

There was a chance that Irv Smith Jr. could digest it this year – and it still could – but it doesn’t seem to have happened yet based on the unofficial depth chart.

For now the defensive end EFAD Odinigo is listed

This se fis ason na, EFADi Odingobo was a potential starter in the defensive end, before the team acquired Yannick Nagakui by trade.

There was some speculation that Odingo could go to three technical venues to gain more playing time. He has rarely played in the past, but the depth chart currently lists him as a defensive end. Of course, he can still take defensive action during the game if called upon to do so.

Glade’s CB depth was listed next to Dentzler on the depth chart

Cameron Denztler was one of the players who received much praise for his performance during training camp.

But the published King Ndai chart Vikings has given it as the fourth option on the cornbuck. Mike Hughes and Holton Hill are two starters. After that, Jeff Glade is ahead of Dentzler in the list of backups. Nickel corners, which the Vikings frequently use, are not specifically listed.

KJ Osborne is the No. 1 option on Kick and Punt Returner

It seemed that KJ had emerged as the No. 1 returnee during Osborne training camp. Based on the depth chart released by the Vikings, it looks like that. Aamir Abdullah is listed as a backup for Kick Returner. They could always use both players for time. BB and Hughes were backups for Punt Returner.
