The Changhua County Fire Office Service Command Center received a report at 11:52 a.m. that a fire was reported at the Zhengxin Tire Xizhou Plant. The Fire Department immediately mobilized 49 firefighters from 6 units, including the Forest Unit and the Beidou Unit, and 23 firefighters. The car went to fill the fire and the fire was extinguished in about an hour.

The fire department noted that 4 factory employees were sent to the hospital for suffocation, of which 3 were sent to the Changhua Hospital of the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, and the other was sent to the Changhua Christian Hospital for first aid. All 4 were slightly injured.

In a joint interview with the media, Chief Ye Qingtian, the fourth team of the Changhua County Fire Department, noted that the combustion plant is located on the 3rd and 4th floors, covering an area of ​​about 200 square meters. . Since the factory is full of plastic objects, dense smoke is generated immediately after the fire burns. After the arrival of the team members, factory personnel had pulled the waterline to put out the fire first and firefighting vehicles joined the firefighting ranks later.
