Nashville Police Chief John Drake told reporters at a news conference Friday afternoon: “We found an organization that we think might be (human) remains, and we will inspect it.”
It did not reveal how close the suspected human remains were to the site where the caravan exploded.
Nashville Mayor John Cooper (John Cooper) said the explosion was caused by a “deliberate bomb.”
The camper announced that the bomb was about to detonate before exploding.
Drake said that about 15 minutes before the explosion, the horrible news of the explosion was broadcast in the caravan that was about to explode.

He said that the explosion was truly surprising and that the police had not received any notice prior to the incident. “I thought it might be the propane explosion in the RV, but it turned out to be deliberate (bomb blast),” he said.
He added: “We have not received any threats (information).”
Drake praised the courage of the police.
Currently, the three injured civilians are in stable condition. The mayor said that at least 41 businesses were destroyed.
The impact of the explosion
At 6:30 a.m. Friday, a motor home exploded off 166 N2 Avenue in downtown Nashville. The blast shook empty streets early on Christmas morning, smashed windows, damaged buildings and injured three people. Authorities said they believed the explosion was deliberate.
When the caravan exploded, police did not confirm if anyone was inside. The death toll is not known.
Police said the motive for the incident is unclear. Drake said he doesn’t want to speculate, but thinks the suspect doesn’t want to hurt others and may just want to cause sabotage, “but we can’t be sure until more investigations are done.”
Nashville Metropolitan Fire Department Chief William Swann told reporters that a building collapsed due to an explosion and other buildings on the street that had been built for a long time were also affected.
The Nashville Metropolitan Police Department released a photo of the alleged RV on Friday. The FBI’s Memphis field office is leading the investigation and Special Director Matt Foster urges the public to submit suggestions or information.
The explosion caused widespread disruptions in communications and paralyzed the police emergency system. AT&T spokesman Jim Greer told CNN that the company’s Nashville network center was damaged in the blast and that services in the Nashville area were affected.
Mayor Cooper imposed a curfew on the area surrounding the scene of the blast, which lasted until 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Late on Friday, Nashville International Airport (BNA) posted an update on its social media platform that flights from the airport were resuming after being temporarily suspended by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
