The Kuomintang think tank “National Policy Research Foundation” announced today (26) a survey on current affairs in November. In terms of support for the party, the Democratic Progressive Party consistently ranked first with 24.7% and the Chinese Kuomintang closely followed with 20.6%, showing a “golden cross” situation. Furthermore, in terms of the identity of the blue, green and white parties, Pan-Green scored 32.5%, significantly ahead of Pan-Blue 21% and the Taiwan People’s Party (white) 10.4%.

The situation at home and abroad is turbulent this year, and opposition parties have launched a wide-ranging battle on issues such as epidemic prevention, rescue, and even the US elections and the American pig. According to the latest poll published today by the “National Policy Research Foundation”, in terms of “support for the party”, the DPP has the highest approval rate of 24.7%, followed by the Kuomintang 20.6%, the Popular Party 10.4% and Times Force. 6.0%, Taiwan Fundamental 1.5%, Green Party 0.3%, People First Party 0.3%, New Party 0%, furthermore, 36.1% of respondents “did not respond immediately.”

Responding to the survey results, Huang Xinhua, deputy executive director of the Kuomintang think tank, noted that compared to polls of support for the blue-green party last month, among young people aged 20-29, support the DPP fell 8%. The age group in which support for the DPP has fallen the most and the attitude of young people towards support for the party has tended to be neutral, and this month’s polls were taken before the Autumn Fight parade, which is a huge warning for the DPP.
Furthermore, according to the results of the regional analysis, the DPP’s support in Greater Taipei, Keelung, Taozhumiao, Zhongchangtou, Yunjianan, and the Gaoping Islands are clearly ahead of the KMT, and the KMT only supports Yihua East. The grade is way ahead.
This survey is for eligible voters who are over the age of 20. From November 17 to 19, the random dialing sampling method (Random Digit Dialing, RDD) designed by the Chengchi National University Electoral Research Center was used. The successful weighted sample was 1078 One, using simple random sampling (SRS) to estimate the sampling error. With a 95% confidence level, the maximum error should not exceed ± 2.98 percentage points.
