Giuliani told Fox Business host Lou Dobbs that “almost none” of the hundreds of thousands of votes were cast under the supervision of Republican scrutineers. State electoral law requires that all parties have a teller present.
“Now we have up to 650,000 votes that are illegal. They were cast in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh,” he said. “The media said we have no proof. This is a total lie, as they have been lying for years.”
On Monday, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf’s office stated in a statement that all party scrutineers were present throughout the entire process, “any suggestion to the contrary is a lie.”
Giuliani said a few days ago that the Trump campaign may have enough evidence to change the results of the Pennsylvania election.
He told Fox News’s Maria Bartiromo last Sunday that the multiple lawsuits started by the Trump campaign may show as many as 900,000 invalid ballots were cast in this battlefield state.
According to unofficial statistics from the Pennsylvania State Department, Biden received 3.35 million votes, while Trump received 3.31 million. In terms of percentages, Biden received 49.7% of the votes, while Trump received 49.1%.
In response to the host’s question on whether the evidence is sufficient to change the direction of the presidential election, Giuliani replied, “I think we have enough (evidence) to change Pennsylvania (the election result). Pennsylvania’s election is a disaster”.
“Some of us saw people kicked out of the polling places; someone suggested that people vote for the other party and taught them to vote. I told them the whole situation.”
Giuliani alleged that Republican Pittsburgh tellers “were not allowed into the counting room or kept out of the counting room” for 24 hours when counting the votes sent by mail.
He continued: “Even though we went to court and they allowed us to get within 6 feet, the Democratic counting staff moved the counting site another 6 feet. All of this was videotaped. There were more than 50 witnesses.”
On Monday, the Trump campaign launched a new lawsuit to prevent Pennsylvania from certifying the election results. They allege that the Democratic and Republican controlled counties did not follow the same rules for defective ballots mailed, and that Republican tellers were unable to observe the counting process from a significant distance.
Matt Morgan, the Trump campaign general counsel, explained in a news conference Monday: “If you are a Democrat in Philadelphia, you will not be subject to restrictions on fixing bad votes. But if you are in a county controlled by the Republican Party. Pennsylvania, they will not be allowed to do this because they are strictly following Pennsylvania laws and regulations. “
The lawsuit also included sworn testimony from a postal official in Erie County. He said he heard his superiors talk about illegally filling in the dates on final ballots to make them look legal.
Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham also cited the postal official’s allegations in a letter to the Justice Department calling for a federal investigation.
