“Sidney Powell is doing the legal work alone. She is no longer a member of Trump’s legal team, nor is she the president’s personal attorney.” Giuliani announced the news Sunday night without giving further details.
Last week, President Trump declared that Powell will become a member of his team and legal representative. A few days later, Powell appeared with Giuliani and Trump’s attorney, Jenna Ellis, and said that the voting software company was involved in a transnational conspiracy to overthrow the elections.
One of the software companies Powell mentioned, “Dominion Voting Systems,” explicitly denied his claims. Dominion is based in Toronto, and a company spokesperson once told Fox News that the software cannot transfer votes from Trump to Democratic candidate Biden.
Powell cited written testimony in which the witness stated that he had worked in the Venezuelan military and witnessed the use of software to help Venezuelan socialist dictator Hugo Chávez (Hugo Chávez) steal election results. This affidavit was later presented to federal court as evidence when Trump’s campaign attorney Lin Wood filed suit.
A few days ago, Powell said in an interview with Newsmax that the team has “a lot of evidence.”
“(The evidence) is too much, it’s difficult to put it all together,” he continued explaining that the team will file a “biblical” lawsuit on a large scale.
She added: “Presenting the fraud allegations with the evidence I want to invest in is a huge project.”
After the Trump team announced Powell’s latest developments, attorney Linwood tweeted on the 22nd: “Powell and I have more similarities than differences. We are fighting on different legal battlefields, for the same client: us the people. People voted overwhelmingly for President Trump’s re-election. “
