McConnell said, “If any major infraction this time will affect the results, all Americans want to expose them.”
“If Democrats are confident that (the fraud) did not occur, then they have no reason to worry about any additional scrutiny. We have the tools and institutions to solve any problem,” he said.
McConnell did not admit that Biden won the election
McConnell also mentioned the 2000 presidential election, when the Florida vote was recounted. The reason was that bipartisan presidential candidates George W. Bush and Al Gore had very few votes. He noted that Gore’s campaign brought long-term legal challenges, and that it wasn’t until December of that year that Gore decided to compromise.
