According to the “Washington Observer” report, the Nevada Republican Party announced Thursday night that while the vote count is still in progress, the attorney has contacted Attorney General William Barr. Before that, Trump held a press conference accusing his opponent of trying to “steal” the election.
“Our attorneys just filed criminal charges with Barr’s Attorney General for at least 3,062 cases of voter fraud. We expect this number to increase significantly. We have determined that thousands of people appear to have violated the law before moving from Nevada. After that , I am still voting here, “the party said in a tweet.
Earlier in the day, Trump’s election team announced plans to file a lawsuit alleging that at least 10,000 votes in Nevada were cast by voters who did not live in the state. Trump supporter and former acting director of the National Intelligence Agency Richard Grenell told Fox host Lou Dobbs that they would file a lawsuit within hours of filing the criminal charges.
On Thursday night, President Trump held a press conference at the White House saying that he and his campaign team “will not allow corruption to steal” the election and, at the same time, firmly believe that he will win the presidential election. 2020, although the path to re-election is gradually becoming narrow.
Trump said his goal is “to defend the integrity of the elections.”
“If you count the legitimate votes, I can easily win,” Trump said.
“We will not allow corruption to steal such an important election,” Trump said. “We cannot allow anyone to repress our voters or manipulate the results.”
Trump said many polling places did not allow “legal monitors” to observe the counting process.
Trump also cited various frauds by the Democratic Party in the days after Election Day.
“We have a huge advantage in all the key states, but strangely, our numbers are starting to decline.”
Trump also criticized sending votes by mail, saying it was a shortcut to fraud.
Trump also mentioned Pennsylvania. He said he originally led by 700,000 votes in this state, but was later downgraded to 90,000 votes.
Trump’s election team has filed lawsuits in several states, requesting to enter the tally point for observation. In Pennsylvania, an appeals court judge ruled that Trump’s team was allowed to more closely monitor the Philadelphia County vote count.
Originally, the tallying officer asked the inspector to stay 25 feet away. The judge now allows the inspector to stand 6 feet away and observe.
This order is effective immediately, that is, before 10:30 am on November 5.
The Philadelphia and Pennsylvania Democrats appealed this ruling to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Trump said: “They are appealing. I’m curious why they appealed. All we ask is that people watch when they count their votes.”
“They don’t want people to watch the counting process for no good reason, because if it’s fair, they should be proud. Obviously, they tried to commit fraud, no doubt.”
