Sean Connery has fans all over the world, regardless of gender. In the eyes of many loyal “007” audiences, he is the romantic and invincible British agent James Bond, the perfect embodiment of Western agents during the Cold War. He died at his home in the Bahamas on October 31, at the age of 90, and the news immediately spread to the world through social media and traditional media.
When Connery was a child, his family squeezed into a room in an apartment building, with shared bathrooms and no public hot water. He dropped out of school at the age of 13, without an academic certificate, first working part-time and then enlisting in the navy. Three years later, he returned to his hometown due to a gastric ulcer. He got “Long Live Scotland” and “Mom and Dad” tattooed on his body. He soon earned a reputation as a “tough guy” in Edinburgh because he once repelled six thieves from the underworld by himself. At the time, connery, a veteran, worked as a truck driver, security guard, and model for the Edinburgh College of Art in order to earn a living, practice fitness, and play soccer in his spare time.
Due to his excellent skills, he was once invited to join Manchester United on a weekly salary of £ 25, but Connery fell in love with acting while working in a community theater and chose the former between art and football. He later proudly said that this was one of the wisest life decisions he made.

The following year, he began playing Lieutenant Buzz Adams. “Blood Money” originally cast the American actor who played the lead role in London and did not want to come to London. When casting the actor for Bond, the wife of another producer strongly recommended Connery to her husband. The original author, Fleming, was not optimistic about the “stunt man” born into a worker’s family in Edinburgh at first, but immediately changed his mind after seeing the film. In his later work, he established a medium Scottish background for 007.

“Love from Russia” director Terence Young directs the sex scene at the rehearsal location. How did truck driver, bricklayer, and fitness man Connery play lead agent 007, who graduated from aristocratic Eton College? The gestures, accents, expressions, and body language in the eyes are all “aristocratic gentlemen,” and beauty agents can’t resist the charm? The answer is that his director friend, Terence Young, specializes in taking him in and out of various high-level venues, and instructs him in his gestures and conversations.

In 1967, Connery decided not to play 007, but the producer did his best to persuade him. In 1971, he filmed “Diamond” for a record salary. He and his wife used the money to establish the Scottish International Education Trust to fund new Scottish artists who are still struggling. “In the Name of the Rose” is one of Connery’s efforts to get rid of Agent 007 and avoid being stereotyped, and is considered a success in terms of effect.
