The National Day fireworks will begin at 8 pm on Yuguang Island, Anping District, Tainan City today (10th). Large crowds have gathered to watch the show at 6pm tonight. It is estimated that there will be 250,000 people. Tainan Mayor Huang Weizhe is also on Facebook Live simulcast (click), so that the public not present can also enjoy the National Day fireworks.
Originally, this year’s National Day fireworks were expected to set off 16,882 fireworks, increasing to 27,354. The launch time is 33 minutes. President Tsai Ing-wen and Vice President Lai Qingde will also attend. This time it is estimated that there will be a wave of 250,000 people. In addition to the fireworks show at night, there is also a food market open until 12 at night, so that the public can feast on the sight and the mouth.
The main stage of the fireworks display this time is in the “Anping Love Plaza”, and the other three sub stages are in the “Guanxi Platform” in Anping District, the “Taiwan 1661 Ship Park” in Anping district and the “Longgang flyover” in the southern Si Kun Lu district. Huang Weizhe even described the fireworks as “all the way, no cold spots.” He also broadcast live on Facebook simultaneously, and the public is also looking forward to the arrival of the fireworks show.
In addition to the pyrotechnic show, 400 drones will be displayed for 10 minutes at “Double Ten National Day-Perfectly Perfect”. The Tainan city government also stated that this time Tainan showed the hospitality of the cultural capital and the Tainanese. People can visit various viewing spots to enjoy the National Day fireworks in Tainan. However, to maintain public safety, the Tainan City Government announced that today it is strictly forbidden to play in the water.
